Instead of standing up for the dead, instead of standing up for America, people still choose to grab bits and pieces of what is left of our Constitution and use it in defense of killers.

A site that I frequent had a post today proclaiming that the site at ground zero could not be that great because nearby there were " titty bars " within walking distance.
OH MY GOD ! THE STRIPPERS ARE GONNA GET US !
WHERE ARE THEY GONNA HIDE THE BOMBS !
Let me tell you something, if he is afraid of the strippers attacking, he has other issues other than terrorism.



He also made us aware that there was a Mcdonalds close the the site as well.
What, are they gonna do, throw french fries at us ?
Come on, is this the best you have ?
This has nothing to do with the fact of the strippers, or fast food in proximity of Ground Zero.
It has everything to do with allowing a Muslim Imam, that would not denounce Hamas, that said that the United States was to blame for 9/11, that will not allow us to know where the funding for this building is coming from, that preaches a religion that teaches any other person that does not follow their religion should be killed, that has radical followers,
It has everything to do with slapping America in the face, and letting them know that the Muslim world is coming to take over.
Let me say right here and now, there are more people that do not want this, and there are more people that still feel pride when we look at the flag.
We still feel pain when we see clips from the 9/11 incident, and we know what we have to do come November, and beyond.
This is our Country, we speak English, we follow the American law, and by no means do we need someone to tell us how to act from another country.

Ground Zero Mosque

Out of all the things Obama has said, this has got to be the most treasonous two minutes of his Presidency.

The only thing he got right was the fact that 9/11 was a traumatic event, and that ground zero is considered hallowed ground.

When he continues to say that Muslims have a right to practice their religion, to build, build temples and community centers, he is dead wrong.

Why is the leader of our country allowing a people that is taught to kill us the right to be on our shores ?

As an American, is this what we want taught across the street from the worst terror attack in recent memory ?

Obama goes on and says our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable.

What ? Did you see 9:28 ? Kill them until nothing is left but Islam ?

Lets talk tolerance for a minute, tolerance for OUR way of life.

A tolerance to our language, our culture, our laws, and our constitution.

Lets talk tolerance to America first.

It's time to become greedy, it's time to take it all back.

This is our Nation, and our fathers, and grandfathers fought in wars, and gave their lives, worked through depressions, worked long hours, and built a Nation so that their children could have a better life, not so a Muslim could come here and kill them because they did not believe in Allah.

Screw all of this Political Correctness, and to hell with all your tolerance.

My Grandfather was not bombed and wounded on the USS St. Louis in Pearl Harbour, and my father, brother, and other family that served did not do so for an immigrant to come to my country so that I, or my children could be tolerant to someone from another nation.

I did not spend my life working in the power and telecommunications industry, helping to build an infrastructure that would be the envy of the world so that I could have my own Government regulate it away from me.

Tolerance, that word needs to have a new meaning.

Maybe put a big NO in front of it, because a real American will not tolerate this destruction any longer

I Have Heard Enough

Last night when I made it to my chair and grabbed my TV remote, I did the usual and flipped over to Fox news.
I had about 25 minutes before Bill O'Riley came on, so I surfed around a bit to hear what the blind media had to say. I was caught off guard a little because most of the reports were still criticizing the great oil spill speech Obama gave the night before.
I kind of thought it would happen, I thought that when he turned his talk with America into a look into his dream world that it would upset many of the left wing media that had his back up until now.
I could only listen to a few minutes of their concern, because they were all about 50 days too late with it. That's when I flipped over to see the beginning of O'Riley
I should have known that Obama's speech was going to be at the top of his list as well, and Dick Morris would be there to explain what Clinton would have done.
Don't get me wrong, I like O'Riley, I am a fan, I watch Hannity, and I sometimes stick around to watch Greta as well, but last night I felt like it was being shoved down my throat.
We all know Obama is a screw up, we all know this Government is a complete waste of air and is shoving a stick so far up our rear's that we might not be able to walk right again.
Just once I want to hear about the person that stands up and yells NO !
The person that holds up a file or document and says I HAVE PROOF THEY ARE WRONG !
Where is the person that has the evidence that Barney Frank screwed around with Fannie and Freddie ?
Where is the person that used a cell phone camera to record Nancy Pelosi doing her backroom deals during the health care ordeal ?
Where is the person that was in the room when Obama and Andy Stern, and whoever else may have been there was organizing our fundamental change ?
For that matter, where is the person that stands in the hallways, and elevators, and even the bathrooms in those corrupt buildings that hear things, that know what they do and say is wrong, that know things that can put a stop to all of this ?

If Obama's plan is so great, why does he have to use our tax dollars to buy the votes to get it passed ?

Bill O'Riley had a great talking points tonight



I have to say that I am not a fan of CNN, but I was aware of Dobbs speaking on illegal immigrants, and I did see some video of him talking about the birthers.
I was glad that Bill gave him a chance, away from CNN, to speak



My opinion ?
Lou wanted to give an honest report, no matter who looked bad, and CNN did not like it.
And to go another step further, because he took a stand on illegal immigrants, not legal ones, but illegal immigrants, the left put the heat on CNN to get rid of him.
That is how this administration works, speak out against Obama and his policies, and get shot down.
This is a fine example of the liberal media.

Busy Weekend

On Thursday, I was invited to attend a memorial service for some of people who died in the attack of the pentagon 8 years ago.
My invitation came due to the fact that I know my way around the streets of Northern Virginia, and two of the women that were going needed a driver.
Besides the fact that I had become a chauffeur, I felt honored that I could attend the gathering and have a chance to talk to some people that were in the building when the attack happened.
Hearing for myself some of their own personal stories, and actually being at the Pentagon just hours after then plane had struck the side of the building brought back some terrible feelings

On Saturday, my driving skills were put to good use again as I was volunteered as a commuter van driver to shuttle people into D.C. from Stafford Virginia, just a short 45 minutes away.
On my last trip, I had parked the van and joined the group of Americans that had assembled to send a message to government.

As I made my way through the crowd, I found that different streets contained different feelings of the march.

I had no sign, and no shirt expressing my views, but because of the crowd I was with, I was called racist, redneck, hillbilly, and right wing nut.

As I got closer to the platform that was assembled for the Freedomworks people, I was handed a wallet sized copy of the constitution, and the woman that handed it to me said " This is a gift for you, don't lose it "

Out of all the speakers I heard, out of all the speeches, out of all the signs and t-shirts that had clever slogans on them, that one comment hit me the hardest.

............" Don't lose it "

Why would anyone want to lose their freedom, their rights, or liberties ?

Why would anyone just hand them over ?

Her words were the most power full to me that day

On Sunday, I shared what I had seen and heard the last few days with some folks over breakfast at our local gathering place, and everyone there said with the same breath " How did we get this far ? "

Out of control government did not start with Obama, and it did not start with Bush

This greed and corruption has been building for years.

I have spent the morning reading left wing blogs that make fun, and ridicule what the people stood for on Saturday, and read a few that scream 9/11 was an inside job.

The people came together Saturday and made one voice, loud and clear, that our representatives are not doing what is right.

They came out in plain view and let America know that they are ready to make a stand.

Where were the left wing supporters ?

Where were the ones that criticize, and write names about those that are willing to put a stop to big government ?

I will tell you where,

In the shadows,

In the darkness,

Hiding behind their keyboards.

They are too ashamed to let others know they are content in having the government take care of them.

They are ashamed to let real Americans know that they are nothing more than sheep.

They are ashamed to let us know that they cannot think for themselves.

Our current situation will not be solved by blaming Bush, or believing that opposition against Obama is racially motivated.

It will be solved by stepping forward and calling out corruption, pointing out the waste, and punishing those that break the rules.

If you break the law, if you cheat the people, if you lie,

Your Fingers Still Crossed ?

I watched Obama give a speech about allowing federal funding for stem cell research this morning. I watched him sign the papers and saw all the happy people smile and clap

You know what ? I could care less.

Why should I ? I am sure this type of research could help a lot of folks, and I am sure that it comes with a price. The reason I don't care is because if I had an opposing view it would not make any difference

The stimulus was not even discussed or debated, but it was walked on through and it is done.

The nomination and appointment of tax cheats and lobbyists went through without a second thought, because it is what Obama wanted

The earmarks that we were promised that would be eliminated are still attached, and not just a few, but over 8,000.

I saw a post this weekend on a new blog I came across that was titled " Obama style communism ". I read a little about what the communist lifestyle is like, and I saw a so called " recipe " for communism.

The first thing that one would need to do is gain control of the money.

The next thing is to gain control of the media.

Well in Obama's case, that was not to hard

Then one would have to gain control over peoples health care and medicine

Once all of those things were accomplished, all that is left to do is take away the ability for people to defend themselves against you.

Did you catch the Town Hall event today with McCain and Palin ? One man was pleading with McCain to continue with the Ayres connection, and another told McCain that he is sick and tired of the socialism creeping into our country. He said he was mad as hell, and told John M. and Sarah P. to do something about it !




Obama is hiding the truth, and the media is helping him.

All these connections can not possibly be a coincidence, I believe that Obama has an agenda that is fueled by his radical, terrorist, socialist youth. He has been mentored by many hate filled men, and then used them for political gain. They pushed him along to get to where he is today, and will stop at nothing to complete their process




Do the Obama supporters really know who he is ? Maybe they do, and just maybe they are hoping we do not find out who he really is.

Politics Are Funny

I was looking through some articles on the Internet about Teddy Roosevelt concerning his campaign, and it seemed every time I typed a search using the keywords election, or campaign, or candidate, I would come across these pictures and articles that people are looking at thousands of time a day.



Does this have any bearing on the outcome of the election ? Yes it does, because after the speeches, and debates, and all the town hall meetings, it will come down to a critical phrase or statement.

What Are They Afraid Of ?

The recent conventions have been a buffet for the writers of talk shows and certain " news " programs. But I think they are loading their plates on just one side of the bar. Take Bill Maher for example



Nearly six minutes of monologue, and only one joke about Obama. The rest was directed at John McCain and Sarah Palin. Well, what about his opening after the RNC ?



Again, one joke about Obama, and the rest at McCain and Palin's expense, and some spillover onto Bush. Why is this ? Maher is not the only one I have found guilty of this, it is like this all over TV and radio. Why ? I believe it is because of fear. Our country has become so obsessed with political correctness, that we are afraid of offending anyone. Let's face it, a label like that is a career killer. Look at this funny clip I found

The Words Of Others

Caution ! What you say about the Democratic candidate could label you as a racist ! If you are not on the Obama bandwagon, you will be branded as a hater. The first amendment allows me to speak my mind freely without fear of persecution, but does not guarantee me not to be labeled. My credentials, at best, are no more than a spectator with an open mind that is concerned for my countries well being. It would be easy for for the Obama troops to to label me as a racist if I publicly spoke out about him. But what about a man that graduated from The College of New Rochelle with a BA degree, continued on to Union Theological Seminary in N.Y.C. where he was awarded a Master of Divinity Degree and finally received a Doctor of Philosophy degree. Would his opinions have a racial agenda ? Let's see.....

With eleven weeks left until the election, I am looking into all the issues, and where the candidates stand on them. Because I am an outdoorsman, and I come from a long line of gun owners, the issue of personal gun ownership and the rights I think I am entitled to are important to me. I am NOT happy with Obamas position

Barack Obama voted to ban almost all rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting.

Barack Obama has endorsed a 500% increase in the federal excise tax on firearms and ammunition.

Barack Obama has endorsed a complete ban on handgun ownership.

Barack Obama supports local gun bans in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and other cities.

Barack Obama voted to uphold local gun bans and the criminal prosecution of people who use firearms in self-defense.

Granted, I do not live in a major city and I am not exposed to violent crimes that include guns. I do own many firearms, and after a required safety course, and hunter training course, My 13 year old son is the proud owner of a single shot 20 gauge shotgun, and a 12 gauge pump shotgun. A quote from Obamas book Audacity of Hope, is " I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction " Well, what better place for the Muslims to control our country, than in the office of the President of United States ? Let me say this, I will NOT give up my guns for anyone, and I think that there are many more that stand with me. Yes, before I get hate comments, not everyone should have a firearm, and I agree that there are problems with crimes involving guns, but not at my house.

A Fading Star

Let me give you something else to think about, if you do the math on Obama the Senator. He has only been a Senator for 18 months. But with all the recesses, four day weekends, campaigning and absences, Obama has only spent about 6 weeks of workdays on the Senate floor as one of the most junior Senators. Most of his votes, about 80% when he was not absent, have been "present" or "abstain". He also chairs a committee that has never met. As a trial lawyer he only tried 14 cases in court, and minor ones at that. As a "community organizer" his major cause was getting the asbestos out of a housing project. After 2 years of trying, the asbestos was still there when he left. It is still there even now that he is a Senator and presumably has some pull to get things done. That's it. His entire real world work resume. 6 weeks work in the Senate with nothing to show for it, two years as a lawyer, with only 14 minor trials, and two years as a "community organizer" with nothing accomplished.

I think the sparkle and shine that Obama walks around with is starting to wear thin, and I have a feeling it will only fade more. I'm still waiting for the " October Surprise " that McCain has for us about Obama. I find it hard to give my support to a man who was in the congregation listening to this

Still On The Fence

Did you catch the the Q & A from Rick Warren to McCain and Obama ? I had to search, but I found the transcripts and made note of the positions that the candidates have on some of the topics. I do this not only to get a sense of their ideas for the coming 4 years, but to see if these positions will hold.

On the issue of abortion, Obama is for legalized abortion. McCain believes human rights begin at conception

Both McCain and Obama said marriage is a union between a man and a woman. Obama added that he supports civil unions for gay partners. It sounds as if Obama is not real sure about this issue

Obama was quick to quote scripture, and discuss his faith. McCain was a bit more reluctant, and used anecdotes and humor to answer some of Warrens questions.

I did a little more research on the candidates positions, and found that Obama does not oppose war. Obama voted for a 700 mile fence at the US/Mexico border in 2006, but in 2007, he supported a bill that created the " guest worker " program. Obama also wants to spend 50 to 65 BILLION on his National Health Insurance Exchange that does not offer health care, but would serve as a watchdog on private insurers. His plan also calls for " Large " companies to contribute to insurance costs

McCain states that the threat in Iraq is " abundantly clear " He was also among the first in the GOP to say he had " no confidence " in Donald Rumsfeld. He was also supportive of the troop surge in 2007. McCain also voted for the 700 miles of fence, and also was in favor of the " guest worker" bill, but added to impose tougher sanctions on employers who hire illegals. McCain is offering a $2500 for single, and $5000 for couple tax credit to help pay for health insurance. McCain is opposed to universal health care

I only hit the high points on these issues, and admittedly left some details out, but I am only looking for changes in policy between now and November, not campaining. As of yet, I have not been able to find a clear economic plan for either candidate. I do predict that taxes will go up for everyone, no one can argue that. I did come across a clip from McCain that I thought was interesting. Take a look.

Open minded masses

I am a true sports fan. My preferences lean towards football, but the competition between two teams is truly entertaining. I am only a spectator from the comfort of my own home, and enjoy the TV coverage that comes with the game. It is always great to see a large group of people, each with their own idea of what play to call, who should be quarterback, should they punt the ball, or go for that last yard. A large group for one main goal, which is winning the game, but huddled into their own little groups with a different opinion than that of the group standing four rows behind them. If their team gets the win, then it's all smiles and cheers. If their team looses, then it comes down to the " well if they would have done this " commentary, and " fire the coach" , or " we need a new quarterback ". I wonder if all this can be compared to the DNC ? with the long, drawn out primary, and Hilary stepping down and Obama taking the lead, were there any armchair comments coming from the camps that sounded like the words overheard in the losers parking lot after the game ? I read today that Obama and Bill Clinton have had a conversation recently that stated that Obama has asked for his help in getting elected. What would he do different than what he did for Hilary ? In a speach given by the former president, he said that people were huddled in masses of their own ideas, and were unwilling to accept change. This may be true, but when the primary's started there were many groups huddled around many ideas, and now we are down to two. The Big Game is getting close, and it is time to make as many of these huddled masses as happy as possible. Can we find a solution to the huge increase in gas prices ? Can we bring down inflation and the cost of food ? Can we solve the mortgage crises ? Is there some type of solution to the war ? Are we safe from further attacks on our country ? Will we have an answer to these questions in February 2009 ?
