Bush Didn't Do this

What the hell is this ?
Its a freaking joke that's what it is.
I can't believe the Dem's would roll this garbage out and expect anyone to think it is a solution

What a waste.
Admit it Dem's, you people are looking more stupid every day.
You know what I am waiting for ? Someone to say " George Bush caused this ! He made us all stupid ! It's his fault ! "
Anyone, and I mean anyone that can get on a blog and defend this mess is an absolute idiot.

This is what we have leading this mess. The grand and wonderful pair.
Yeah right, not a brain between them
Its a good thing they are on the way out, no one will vote for these two idiots next election cycle

And this waste of breath.
Come on, we all know she got the job from Obama so she would keep her mouth shut about something Obama did not want told
There is your argument there Dem's. Get on here and tell everyone I am wearing a tinfoil hat and trying to start a conspiracy.
You poor blind Kool-Aid zombies would hold hands and jump off a bridge if Obama told you too

One more blast before I go take a pill for the headache I have from all this stupidity
This one here should be put on a rail and run right out of DC and dropped in the Potomac. Let him float out to the bay and into the ocean. Maybe Gilligan will pick him up and take him somewhere because he has no business making decisions and spending money that will affect my life.
None of the idiots should be allowed to spend another dime, or make another decision.
No one voted for this, you voted for an empty box from a bunch of snake oil salesmen.
Obama lied to you, he lied to me, and is forcing his agenda on us.
You know what Dem's ?
I am tired of telling you people to wake up.
Stay in your Kool-Aid stupor and continue follow Obama, hoping to get a whiff of the gas that comes from the crap he is full of. continue to become weak, lose your freedoms, and become dependant on the government
We will remain strong, self reliant, prepared to defend, and completely unforgiving of what you voted in, and what you caused to happen to our Country
2010 can't get here soon enough

Giving Me A Headache

What is it Bob ?
I am not an O'zombie, so what I say about Obama's plans must be wrong
In the clip, you heard it out of his own mouth.
Maybe that clip was not credible because it was from the Fox News Channel
OK then what about a publication that is more Obama friendly ?
Would you agree with something from the New York Times ?
Back in April, Obama was interviewed by David Leonhardt that touched on a few interesting topics, and most of all he asked about health care
Take a look

NYT: You have suggested that health care is now the No. 1 legislative priority. It seems to me this is only a small generalization — to say that the way the medical system works now is, people go to the doctor; the doctor tells them what treatments they need; they get those treatments, regardless of cost or, frankly, regardless of whether they’re effective. I wonder if you could talk to people about how going to the doctor will be different in the future; how they will experience medical care differently on the other side of health care reform.
THE PRESIDENT:
First of all, I do think consumers have gotten more active in their own treatments in a way that’s very useful. And I think that should continue to be encouraged, to the extent that we can provide consumers with more information about their own well-being — that, I think, can be helpful.
I have always said, though, that we should not overstate the degree to which consumers rather than doctors are going to be driving treatment, because, I just speak from my own experience, I’m a pretty-well-educated layperson when it comes to medical care; I know how to ask good questions of my doctor. But ultimately, he’s the guy with the medical degree. So, if he tells me, You know what, you’ve got such-and-such and you need to take such-and-such, I don’t go around arguing with him or go online to see if I can find a better opinion than his.
And so, in that sense, there’s always going to be an asymmetry of information between patient and provider. And part of what I think government can do effectively is to be an honest broker in assessing and evaluating treatment options. And certainly that’s true when it comes to Medicare and Medicaid, where the taxpayers are footing the bill and we have an obligation to get those costs under control.

He thinks the Government can be an honest broker in assessing and evaluating treatment options. This statement tells me that the government will have the power to choose which treatment you will be allowed to have.

Now would this apply to everyone, Probably not. I am inclined to think that some people would get " special treatment "
Obama stated " Now, I actually think that the tougher issue around medical care — it’s a related one — is what you do around things like end-of-life care "
Who will make the determination of when end of life care begins ?
If a doctor tells you that a family member has 2 months, or 6 months left to live, will the " appointed panel " decide that it is too late for any further care ?
Obama said this about his own situation

THE PRESIDENT:
Exactly. And I just recently went through this. I mean, I’ve told this story, maybe not publicly, but when my grandmother got very ill during the campaign, she got cancer; it was determined to be terminal. And about two or three weeks after her diagnosis she fell, broke her hip. It was determined that she might have had a mild stroke, which is what had precipitated the fall.
So now she’s in the hospital, and the doctor says, Look, you’ve got about — maybe you have three months, maybe you have six months, maybe you have nine months to live. Because of the weakness of your heart, if you have an operation on your hip there are certain risks that — you know, your heart can’t take it. On the other hand, if you just sit there with your hip like this, you’re just going to waste away and your quality of life will be terrible.
And she elected to get the hip replacement and was fine for about two weeks after the hip replacement, and then suddenly just — you know, things fell apart.
I don’t know how much that hip replacement cost. I would have paid out of pocket for that hip replacement just because she’s my grandmother. Whether, sort of in the aggregate, society making those decisions to give my grandmother, or everybody else’s aging grandparents or parents, a hip replacement when they’re terminally ill is a sustainable model, is a very difficult question. If somebody told me that my grandmother couldn’t have a hip replacement and she had to lie there in misery in the waning days of her life — that would be pretty upsetting.
NYT:
And it’s going to be hard for people who don’t have the option of paying for it.
THE PRESIDENT:
So that’s where I think you just get into some very difficult moral issues. But that’s also a huge driver of cost, right?
I mean, the chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives are accounting for potentially 80 percent of the total health care bill out here.
NYT:
So how do you — how do we deal with it?
THE PRESIDENT:
Well, I think that there is going to have to be a conversation that is guided by doctors, scientists, ethicists. And then there is going to have to be a very difficult democratic conversation that takes place. It is very difficult to imagine the country making those decisions just through the normal political channels. And that’s part of why you have to have some independent group that can give you guidance. It’s not determinative, but I think has to be able to give you some guidance. And that’s part of what I suspect you’ll see emerging out of the various health care conversations that are taking place on the Hill right now.

There you go.
He does not say that the government would not be involved in what treatment would be available to people, he said that a group would discuss the chronically ill and those at the end of their lives.
A group of doctors, scientists, and ethicist appointed by who ?
If it is a government plan, then the government would be the ones that will assemble the people that determine who gets what care
and this would be the beginning, how long would it take before they debate on what treatments would be available for people over age 40, and people over age 30
Obama wants to cut costs by limiting coverage to the sick and dieing, then who will he deny treatment to so that he can save some dollars ?
Autistic children ?
People who have lost a limb ?
The blind ?

Here It Is

Sorry to re-post this clip of the Obama health care infomercial, but one of the brilliant Dems missed it the last time.

It's not his fault, we all know that not much light gets gets in the back of the chosen ones pants.

I posted this clip because it has Obama telling us that the government thinks that a pill would be better than other, more expensive alternatives in some cases. It means they will decide who gets what treatment

I can only think that he did find it, and ignored what was said, and replaced the words with some happy talk

Health care is just one of the power grabs that the government is up to, and I cant think of any good reason why the Obama supporters are standing behind any of this

Why did Obama not want people like these to ask questions about his health care plan ?

Maybe that's why.

I have an uncle. He is the closest person to being my dad that I will ever have. He is coming up on the big 70 and I would do anything to keep him around.

He is retired from the government, and is back working for a contractor doing what he was doing before. Still cuts his grass, still chases the women around, and walks around in pain every minute of the day because of his bad knees

I will be taking him to the hospital in August to have them replaced, because regardless of his age, and some other age related health problems, he wants to continue to live his life, for as long as he has it.

I agree, and think that even though those replacements may get 4 or 5 or hopefully 50 years of service, he deserves the chance

Would the government agree, or hand him some pain pills ?

Lot 2 Learn

If you have been keeping up with the post's and comments between a fellow blogger and myself, you would know that no grey area exists between the views of the left and right
In a few comments, I have been once again called racist, and in so many words, just plain stupid.
Am I the only one that has a lot to learn ?
Could I be completely wrong in thinking that this Obama government is making some very bad decisions ?
Where is the transparency that we were promised, and why are we only hearing one side of all the issues that face us ?

An "open forum " that was to have unsolicited questions, right ?
I really want to know all sides of the debate, not just what our government wants us to hear
And the health care infomercial, what the heck was that ?

I may have a lot to learn, but I do know that there is more than one side to any debate, especially to one that would give the government the ability to deny treatment to some people because of the cost. The idea of pick and choose for treatment sounds extremely biased, and Obama said out of his own mouth that maybe a pill would be better than surgery.
You can't take that out of context

This is shocking to me, with all I read about " disgruntled Republicans " out there doing everything they can to block all the good that the Democrats are trying to do for us.
Many would call it grandstanding, but how many of these people that voted for this even read it ?
And was it not to be posted on the web for the American people to read for 5 days ?
What happened to that ?
This one project that Obama wants for us would mean more taxes and more job loss

Wait a minute, what did Obama tell everyone on the campaign trail ?????

It seems that Obama lied about the taxes

It seems that we are not being told all there is about his health care plan
The security of our nation is important to me, and I believe that we should stay on the defensive at all times.
Protests in Iran, and threats from North Korea are troubling to all of us

Could it be that Obama does not really know what to do ?
Is his lack of experience starting to show ?
Remember this from last year ?

One comment was made that I really did not have anything to say, and that I was misinformed.
Let me tell you what I know

Our government has gotten to big, and it is completely out of control

Selling out to China and other countries is a mistake

I do not believe in global warming theories

I believe Americans should be armed, and have the ability to protect themselves from any threat

I believe that God does exist

I believe that it is time to drill for oil and gas in our own country

I believe I will be called names, and branded many things for saying these things, but will never be afraid to do so

Your Fingers Still Crossed ?

I watched Obama give a speech about allowing federal funding for stem cell research this morning. I watched him sign the papers and saw all the happy people smile and clap

You know what ? I could care less.

Why should I ? I am sure this type of research could help a lot of folks, and I am sure that it comes with a price. The reason I don't care is because if I had an opposing view it would not make any difference

The stimulus was not even discussed or debated, but it was walked on through and it is done.

The nomination and appointment of tax cheats and lobbyists went through without a second thought, because it is what Obama wanted

The earmarks that we were promised that would be eliminated are still attached, and not just a few, but over 8,000.

I saw a post this weekend on a new blog I came across that was titled " Obama style communism ". I read a little about what the communist lifestyle is like, and I saw a so called " recipe " for communism.

The first thing that one would need to do is gain control of the money.

The next thing is to gain control of the media.

Well in Obama's case, that was not to hard

Then one would have to gain control over peoples health care and medicine

Once all of those things were accomplished, all that is left to do is take away the ability for people to defend themselves against you.

"We can't expect the American people to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they wake up to find that they have Communism." -Nikita Krushev (Communist Party of the Soviet Union)

Let me ask again, you people still have your fingers crossed ?
