Character Flaws

Larry King had Ron Paul and Barney Frank on the other night.
When you get these two together, it is not hard to judge their character

To begin with, Ron Paul was right to the point. He knew what he was saying, and he did not have to think back and remember what lie he had told.
Poor Barney was stuttering and stammering around, and he was interrupting Ron whenever something was said that would make Barney look bad.
Barney even made a point to throw Bush under the bus.
Larry King brought up Fannie and Freddie and Barney had a fit, and jumped right back at him.
In the end, Ron was not flustered, and was even laughing a little, but you could tell that he was not going to waste his time arguing with an idiot.
at the end of the clip, Barney looks mad, he looks as if he is thinking to himself that he should have never sat near Ron because he would never be able to talk his way out of his mistakes.
He looks angry, and he does not really look at the camera, and when he does look up, he looks ashamed.
Ron Paul does not look ashamed, he looks like " That's right Barney, I said it !, And I got a lot more to say ! "
He looks like he has nothing to hide, and he looks proud.
Let's see, when we elect someone to go to D.C. to represent us, to handle our money, and our future, and our security, what kind of person do we want when they are called to answer questions from the media ?
The stuttering, backpedaling, mad, ashamed type ?
No ?
Me either

When You Talk Crazy

Instead of admitting he is a liar, Al Gore wants to pretend he is a nut.

I'm sorry, did I say pretend ?

Anyway, speaking of nut's, is that not the very same word used to by the left wing media describe radio and cable television personalities that report negatively against Obama and his administration ?

In particular, Glenn Beck takes a lot of heat from left wing media outlets because he has the courage to expose the facts, and can back up what he brings to us. Glenn even installed a red hot line phone so that if he were to report something wrong, the Government could clear it up on the spot.

Today he started his show with a copy of the New York Times.

Have a look

Could it be that the New York Times has put the Kool-Aid down ?

Your Fingers Still Crossed ?

I watched Obama give a speech about allowing federal funding for stem cell research this morning. I watched him sign the papers and saw all the happy people smile and clap

You know what ? I could care less.

Why should I ? I am sure this type of research could help a lot of folks, and I am sure that it comes with a price. The reason I don't care is because if I had an opposing view it would not make any difference

The stimulus was not even discussed or debated, but it was walked on through and it is done.

The nomination and appointment of tax cheats and lobbyists went through without a second thought, because it is what Obama wanted

The earmarks that we were promised that would be eliminated are still attached, and not just a few, but over 8,000.

I saw a post this weekend on a new blog I came across that was titled " Obama style communism ". I read a little about what the communist lifestyle is like, and I saw a so called " recipe " for communism.

The first thing that one would need to do is gain control of the money.

The next thing is to gain control of the media.

Well in Obama's case, that was not to hard

Then one would have to gain control over peoples health care and medicine

Once all of those things were accomplished, all that is left to do is take away the ability for people to defend themselves against you.

"We can't expect the American people to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they wake up to find that they have Communism." -Nikita Krushev (Communist Party of the Soviet Union)

Let me ask again, you people still have your fingers crossed ?

I love free speech

Everyday I become more and more disgusted at the media. How did this happen ? The media is only good for about 1/10 of the actual news. I had to go to youtube today to hear what GW really had to say about the mortgage crisis. I read blogs all day to get a view into what people really have to say about economy, the war, our candidates, etc. I had heard the term PUMA before today, and thought it meant Party - Unity - My - Ass, but today, for the first time it was explained to me in a blog. This blog, by the way, is one that I read daily. If you would like, you can see it for yourself at http://themountainsage.wordpress.com/ This blog has got some great stuff. I read today, on another blog about the rescue bill that is going to the senate that will bail out the mortgage lenders and banks that are in trouble. I was unaware of the tax breaks that will be given to homeowners that refinance, and new buyers that finance a new home. I know that the housing industry is a huge part of our economy, and now that I have been informed by another blogger about what steps our government is doing to fix it, I see the bigger picture. Now because of their writings, I feel more confident in the decision to fix their problem. The information I got from that blog was not offered to me on any news channel I watched today. Free speech is great, and I will stand and fight to protect the ability to do it, but the bias has to stop. Many televised media outlets are losing, or allready lost their credibility with me and many other bloggers out there. If you are going to report the news, then tell me all of it. Not just your version of it. Wer'e all big kids out here, we can take it. GO BLOGGERS !!!
