Its all over now.

So did anything get done ?

For some reason, Harry Reid will be in D.C. for another term, and I heard Barney Frank will be there as well.

It also seems Barbara Boxer Kept her seat, but you know she worked so hard for that title.

I guess people deserve what they get, that is some people, but this is a democracy, and because the actions of some will affect everyone, meaning the re-election of people that may not have the Countries best interest on their mind, we will have to prepare ourselves for some very hard times.

I am sure that we all know that POTUS has allowed the printing of more money to be infused into the system, which I am sure most of you know will make the value of that dollar bill in your pocket decrease substantially.

Are you ready for some $10.00 bread, and some $25.00 gallons of milk ? Combine this with the fact that we have not seen any jobs in the last two years and you can just imagine the job these new " winners " from last night will be walking into.

Several weeks back, I posted about helping people that were jobless, that had no prospects, and no help left from anywhere. I suggested maybe offering some yard work to them or having them do some home repair, anything would be a blessing. I also asked that donating to food banks and shelters would be a help as well.

The task of restoring our Nation will take much more than a slogan or a catch phrase, it will also take making the decision to come back to becoming God fearing American citizens that value the Constitution, the Bible, and the Flag.

We need to basically turn the clocks back on our values to a time when we had pride in ourselves, pride in our Country, had Honor and self respect, and took responsibility for our actions, and at the same time, made others take responsibility for their actions.

We can do this, we just have to keep standing.

Throw The Politics Out The Window

I stop in at this message board / forums site from time to time to read comments from unemployed folks that are struggling with no jobs, no money, and no one in D.C. listening to them.
It has different topics ranging from current bills, contacting state reps, venting frustrations, and a place for like minded people to offer support to those that could use a kind word, or just to know that there may be light at the end of this long dark tunnel.
I came across this post, and it really made me think..

We get up on our soap boxes every day and type out our two cents worth of free speech, blaming Bush and Obama, and Barney Frank, and Glenn Beck, and whoever the media parades in front of us that day.
We hit the Publish Post button, and think we are making a difference in the world today because we have told it like it is, and this is the problem, and this is how to fix it.
Let's call bull right now because as the saying goes, opinions are like a**holes and everybody has one.
There are some folks out there, in OUR country, in our OWN backyards that are in trouble. They have no food, no shelter, nothing.
And everyday more and more people are joining them.

From a personal view, I have friends that were in the construction business with me, honest, hardworking guys that would give you the shirt off their backs that now have been laid off for nearly 2 years.

Two years of filling out applications, doing odd jobs for little or no money, selling everything they have just to keep a roof over their kids head.

I know these people, they are not the crowd that the few in Washington make them out to be. These folks did not cause the economic problems we have today but they are left to suffer for it now

Our Government and Americans in general are the first to step up when someone is in trouble. If a disaster hits a distant Nation, the American Flag is a welcome sight.
Today we have folks that wake up to empty cupboards, electricity turned off, and having to make a choice between a half gallon of milk for their child or a little gas to go check on a job at the fast food.
Forget the Politics this weekend, and forget to point a finger to blame someone for the Nations troubles.
Remember, when you point at someone, you have three more fingers pointing back at you.
To remember what happened on 9/11, get the feeling you had after it happened.
After the shock, I wanted to do something, to help somehow.
Well, honor 9/11 by helping someone that needs it, right in your own backyard.
Donate some food, contribute towards someones light bill, offer to fill someones tank, give some of those nice clothes to them, not the old ones, hire someone off of Craigslist to do some side work for you, spend some money at a yard sale.
Remember, these folks were the backbone of our Country not long ago, they did not choose this.

I Have Heard Enough

Last night when I made it to my chair and grabbed my TV remote, I did the usual and flipped over to Fox news.
I had about 25 minutes before Bill O'Riley came on, so I surfed around a bit to hear what the blind media had to say. I was caught off guard a little because most of the reports were still criticizing the great oil spill speech Obama gave the night before.
I kind of thought it would happen, I thought that when he turned his talk with America into a look into his dream world that it would upset many of the left wing media that had his back up until now.
I could only listen to a few minutes of their concern, because they were all about 50 days too late with it. That's when I flipped over to see the beginning of O'Riley
I should have known that Obama's speech was going to be at the top of his list as well, and Dick Morris would be there to explain what Clinton would have done.
Don't get me wrong, I like O'Riley, I am a fan, I watch Hannity, and I sometimes stick around to watch Greta as well, but last night I felt like it was being shoved down my throat.
We all know Obama is a screw up, we all know this Government is a complete waste of air and is shoving a stick so far up our rear's that we might not be able to walk right again.
Just once I want to hear about the person that stands up and yells NO !
The person that holds up a file or document and says I HAVE PROOF THEY ARE WRONG !
Where is the person that has the evidence that Barney Frank screwed around with Fannie and Freddie ?
Where is the person that used a cell phone camera to record Nancy Pelosi doing her backroom deals during the health care ordeal ?
Where is the person that was in the room when Obama and Andy Stern, and whoever else may have been there was organizing our fundamental change ?
For that matter, where is the person that stands in the hallways, and elevators, and even the bathrooms in those corrupt buildings that hear things, that know what they do and say is wrong, that know things that can put a stop to all of this ?

What They Are Thinking

They really do have a serious problem.

The left never thought that we would catch on to what they were trying to do so fast. They wanted to shove all these new laws past us, and then cross their arms and look down their nose at us all and tell us it is for our own good.

Let me give a wave to all those tea-bagging rednecks up in Mass., and let them know that we are all glad they took a stand

Character Flaws

Larry King had Ron Paul and Barney Frank on the other night.
When you get these two together, it is not hard to judge their character



To begin with, Ron Paul was right to the point. He knew what he was saying, and he did not have to think back and remember what lie he had told.
Poor Barney was stuttering and stammering around, and he was interrupting Ron whenever something was said that would make Barney look bad.
Barney even made a point to throw Bush under the bus.
Larry King brought up Fannie and Freddie and Barney had a fit, and jumped right back at him.
In the end, Ron was not flustered, and was even laughing a little, but you could tell that he was not going to waste his time arguing with an idiot.
at the end of the clip, Barney looks mad, he looks as if he is thinking to himself that he should have never sat near Ron because he would never be able to talk his way out of his mistakes.
He looks angry, and he does not really look at the camera, and when he does look up, he looks ashamed.
Ron Paul does not look ashamed, he looks like " That's right Barney, I said it !, And I got a lot more to say ! "
He looks like he has nothing to hide, and he looks proud.
Let's see, when we elect someone to go to D.C. to represent us, to handle our money, and our future, and our security, what kind of person do we want when they are called to answer questions from the media ?
The stuttering, backpedaling, mad, ashamed type ?

Back to the talking points, Obama, and the White House is going after Fox News, and now the Chamber of Commerce, I guess they have nothing better to do.
Put Afghanistan on the back burner,
give Charlie Rangell some time to get his accounts together,
make sure John Murtha hides some stuff in one of those hangars at that big airport he built that no one uses, and, oh yeah,
ACORN is out there flappin in the breeze, let's make sure the get some papers shredded and some files thrown out

Did We Get Any Answers ???

I was waiting for an answer last night. I wanted to hear what gloom and doom is waiting for us if we do not spend 1.5 million on tennis courts in Northern Va.

I want to know why we need dog parks in California, and why it is a priority to re-sod and landscape the grounds at the national mall

I wanted to know why this managed health care plan is set to limit health care to seniors, and decide for you what medical procedures you can and can not have done

I want to know why throwing good money, that we don't even have, after bad is going to help us get on the right track

We need to prepare for whats coming because allowing the government to remodel their offices, and buy new vehicles, and throw more money at the global warming crap does not affect what happens to people in the unemployment office down in Dallas Georgia, or Mt. Eagle Tennessee, or even down here in the Northern Neck of Virginia where I live

I did hear a few things last night that did make me laugh. Obama said, once again, that he walked into this debt. He failed to mention that he helped create this mess. He also failed to mention that the decisions made by the Democrats sent the housing mess out of control.

I found out that the Washington Post was more concerned about Obama's feeling on A-Rod doping up than how much this stimulus will cost our children

And for the first time ever, the President called on an extreme left wing media outlet, the Huffington Post, who instead of asking if the President was concerned for his aunt that was in the states illegally and facing deportation, asked about prosecuting the previous administration for war crimes

I hate to get all preachy now, but I think it's time. With or without this bill, all of us need to learn self reliance. We need to stand on our own 2 legs and take care of ourselves and not get sucked into the welfare system that the government is offering. Less government, more people.

Do we want to continue to live free, or let Washington make our decisions for us ?

This is enough of this mess and all those suits inside the beltway can hold hands and walk into a wood chipper for all I care. I want a change, and Obama's not bringing it.

Years ago we had deadly Tylenol. The government rushed in and confiscated the remaining bottles, investigated why and how it happened, and used it's power to bring about the sealed containers.

There was a problem with Firestone tires on new vehicles blowing out and causing SUV's to crash, and people were getting killed. The government investigated and worked to have a recall so the defective tires could be replaced.

Where was the government when the sub-prime mess started ? Did they issue a warning, or let us know about the predatory lending practices that were happening ? George Bush was warning us back in 2001.
