Overstepping It's Boundries ?

Rick Wagoner got the ax today, but not from the board at GM, Obama kicked him out the door.

GM needs more cash to continue operating, and our leader put it in their hands.
Get rid of him, or no more cash
I do not want to debate if Wagoner was the man that needed the pink slip, I personally could not care less if the whole bunch was thrown out.
What bothers me is the fact that government has that kind of power. It bothers me that the government is growing larger every day, and is granting themselves the power to do as it wishes
The auto companies should have gone into bankruptcy.
If the way they manage and direct a company is not working, it is not my place to send them any money to help them out
The government, Obama, Reid, and Pelosi Took my money and handed it to someone that has a lot more than I do, and I have a problem with that
They took my money and handed it to AIG, another group that willingly took a wrong turn and was on the brink of closing it's doors,
or were they ?
I did find it odd that they were doing well enough to send in contributions to Obama, and Dodd, and even McCain.
They were doing well enough to work a deal with Geithtner and Dodd to make sure they could pass out millions in bonus checks as well
This side show soap opera has been played up tremendously by the Kool-Aid media, and the politicians looking to grab some brownie points with the public that is still in the dark about the big plans our new administration has in store for us
The contracts, and deals in the dark that were made over these bailouts will never reach the light of day, but what the government has done concerning these bonus payments worry me the most
As wrong as the bonuses sound to any of us, it was still part of a contract, a legal binding agreement, yet our government said we don't like the terms now, so give it back or we will tax it from you, and smear your names throughout the country
Tonight on The Glenn Beck Show, Glenn interviewed Richard Blumenthal, who is the Connecticut Attorney General , and I was shocked when Glenn asked him " What law did AIG break ? "

Rick may have some good intentions, but twisting the law to get what you want never works.
Anyone can interpret the law in their own way, lawyers make a fortune doing it every day, But our elected officials are to uphold the constitution, and follow it to the letter, not read it and say to themselves " Hmmm, well this will work for me if I exclude this group " .
Wagoner did pretty good on his way out of the GM office today, he walked away with over 20 million in compensation, so I guess GM will have to write him an IOU until Obama cuts them another check, right ?

What A Funny Guy

Yeah, lets all just have a laugh

Throw money at the auto companies that refuse to repair the way they run their business so that they can make a profit

Dump bags of cash on AIG because they are doing such a great job, and make sure they are able to send those campaign dollars back to you

Print another 10 or 20 billion, China loves owning or kids futures

Spend, spend, spend, we can't be broke, we still have checks, right

It's time to come together, RIGHT NOW

Glenn Beck may sound crazy, but no more crazy than the direction our country is heading in.

More and more folks are waking up to the truth

http://www.the912project.com/

Let's not forget, the Government works for us, they are our servants, elected by us.

When you get poor service, or low quality work, you find someone else that can do the job

It's time to clean house friends

Here They Come !!

It's safe now ! you all can come out into the light of day. America will hold your hand and tell you that you are a good person, and that you deserve more.
Did you people see this crap last night ? It is Ayers speaking at a Georgetown Lawyers function talking about this new book he has written.
I was relaxing for a while, working on getting healthy again so that I can be released from my medical leave of absence from work. I had decided that I would refrain from voicing my opinion for a little while, and then here comes Ayres out of the shadows to tell us it was wrong to portray him as a monster. What a piece of crap.
And I see that the big 3 automakers are screaming for a few billion because they might go under, well BOO HOO, that's how business works. Maybe if your plant workers did not make 50 or 75 bucks an hour to put in some screws or plug a harness in, you could reduce your cost's, sell your product a little cheaper, and thrive
I also read that some of these investment companies that are in line for some bailout cash are considering not giving out the year end bonuses, the ones that average up to 80% of their yearly wage, to their people. Wait a minute, they have to think about it ? What ?
It is day's like this that I realize I have the perfect name for my blog, Did I Miss Something, because we really did miss a lot
OK democrats and Kool-Aid drinkers, you got me up, and the blood is flowing again. What kind of stupid crap are you going to throw at us next ?

Lightning Strikes Approach Washington

Oh yeah, lightning is going to be striking all over D.C. now. I cant believe people can look at us through a camera and let the crap fall out of their mouths like it did today. The first one to be struck is
This piece of garbage. She tried to lay blame, listen...

She knows what the problem is. Here is a great example

Years ago we had deadly Tylenol. The government rushed in and confiscated the remaining bottles, investigated why and how it happened, and used it's power to bring about the sealed containers.
There was a problem with Firestone tires on new vehicles blowing out and causing SUV's to crash, and people were getting killed. The government investigated and worked to have a recall so the defective tires could be replaced.
Where was the government when the sub-prime mess started ? Did they issue a warning, or let us know about the predatory lending practices that were happening ? George Bush was warning us back in 2001.

John McCain told us about the problems back in 2006

By the way, did you notice the change in Barney's views on the whole thing ? There's another lightning strike for ya

Where is our MR. Lincoln ?

In the news this morning, I am hearing that the feds are going to bail more mortgage leanders out of the hole that they created. I understand that these lenders have loans out in the trillions. Well, good for them. Is it fair ? I think not. Bad business decisions are just that. I picture these lenders as the villans that give the evil grin when getting a homeowner to sign on the dotted line, twirling their mustache waiting to snatch the contract away, knowing all the while that impossible payments will not be met, and then they will reclaim the home and repeat the process all over again. Yet the seemingly unfair lending practices are pushed aside when they go to Uncle Sam and cry for help. Maybe instead of these CEO's that make millions a year, and then beg for bailout help from the government that WE pay taxes to, could adjust the intrest rates or terms of the existing loans so that no family will be put out in the street, their credit will not be scared, and the mortgage payment keeps coming in. It is no secret that a very small group of americans posess the nations wealth, and that a large number of people, including myself, have limited funds. I believe that we have become slaves to the economy and there is no lincoln to free us. This economic slavery extends to all races, and many more americans are falling into this life sentence. Will bailing out these lenders help the economy enough to eventually help free us from high inflation and debt ? Will there be a trickle down effect that will eventually allow us to enjoy the fruits of our labor ? In America, I believe that the lady behind the counter is just as important as the suit that goes to work in his mercedes every day. I think she should be entitled to a lifestyle that will allow her to have a decent vehicle, and a decent place to live, and food to eat. We are promised life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness in this country, but I find it hard to pursue happiness very far when after the bills are paid there is not enough money for gas in the car. We need to start seaching for our lincoln, someone who is more concerned about ALL people, and not just their account balance.........
