The Blame Game

No doubt the left wing media is in party mode right now.
Many of the left wing blogs that I have been to today have jumped on the Mike Huckabee story.
They are all ready to lay the blame on Mike's doorstep for the actions of an ex-con that has now turned cop killer.
I watched a video on a site that will remain nameless here that included bits and pieces of a radio interview that tried to cast the former Governor as blaming everyone but himself for reducing the sentence of Maurice Clemmons.
I went back and searched for the interview and found that Blitzer had done a little doctoring to Huckabee's words.
For me, I would rather see someone explain something, at least then I can tell if they look away, or fidget, or even read from a paper or even a prompter.
I checked and sure enough, big bad Bill O'Riley had him on tonight.
I was expecting a "softball " kind of question and answer session, out of respect to the former Governor, but Bill was on the ball




Now a couple of questions of my own.
If the left leaning media and the bloggers want to throw some mud at Huckabee, why not throw some at the 2 judges that let the guy out on $15,000 dollars bail ?
They could use a little, don't you think ?
What about the parole board that voted 5-0 , and the judge that recommended to Huckabee that the sentence be commuted ?
These are the people that would have known this cop killer best.
Without a doubt, it was Huckabee's decision to make, and one that he will have to live with.
The left lies about global warming, Obama's socialistic dreams, Tiger Woods wife slapping him around, and now they are going to try and smear Mike Huckabee

Anyway, speaking of nut's, is that not the very same word used to by the left wing media describe radio and cable television personalities that report negatively against Obama and his administration ?

In particular, Glenn Beck takes a lot of heat from left wing media outlets because he has the courage to expose the facts, and can back up what he brings to us. Glenn even installed a red hot line phone so that if he were to report something wrong, the Government could clear it up on the spot.

Today he started his show with a copy of the New York Times.

Lot 2 Learn

If you have been keeping up with the post's and comments between a fellow blogger and myself, you would know that no grey area exists between the views of the left and right
In a few comments, I have been once again called racist, and in so many words, just plain stupid.
Am I the only one that has a lot to learn ?
Could I be completely wrong in thinking that this Obama government is making some very bad decisions ?
Where is the transparency that we were promised, and why are we only hearing one side of all the issues that face us ?



An "open forum " that was to have unsolicited questions, right ?
I really want to know all sides of the debate, not just what our government wants us to hear
And the health care infomercial, what the heck was that ?




I may have a lot to learn, but I do know that there is more than one side to any debate, especially to one that would give the government the ability to deny treatment to some people because of the cost. The idea of pick and choose for treatment sounds extremely biased, and Obama said out of his own mouth that maybe a pill would be better than surgery.
You can't take that out of context




This is shocking to me, with all I read about " disgruntled Republicans " out there doing everything they can to block all the good that the Democrats are trying to do for us.
Many would call it grandstanding, but how many of these people that voted for this even read it ?
And was it not to be posted on the web for the American people to read for 5 days ?
What happened to that ?
This one project that Obama wants for us would mean more taxes and more job loss

The security of our nation is important to me, and I believe that we should stay on the defensive at all times.
Protests in Iran, and threats from North Korea are troubling to all of us



Could it be that Obama does not really know what to do ?

Let me tell you what I know

Our government has gotten to big, and it is completely out of control

Selling out to China and other countries is a mistake

I do not believe in global warming theories

I believe Americans should be armed, and have the ability to protect themselves from any threat

I believe that God does exist

I believe that it is time to drill for oil and gas in our own country

I believe I will be called names, and branded many things for saying these things, but will never be afraid to do so

Guess what day it is ? Today marks the 106th day untill the elections. At least that's what fox news said. Are you ready ? Are we ready ? I think we've been ready for nearly 8 years now. Have you heard the expression " lesser of two evils "? That phrase really applies to us in November. We need to make a decision on the lesser of a lot of evils. The war, the economy, healthcare, global warming, rising inflation, taxes, declining infrastructure, and so much more. But to truly prepare for the most important decision we are going to have to make, we should have started years ago. I am just as guilty as the next person in not being prepared, because two or three years ago, there was more to be pleased with than not. Let me explain. A short 12 months ago there was plenty of work to go around. I had a little disposable income in my pocket, a full tank of gas, steaks on the grill when I wanted, and the images in my mind of bigger and better things to come. Yes, we were at war, GW was fumbling his way around the white house, and according to some, the sky was falling and we were soon going to burst in flames from the global warming. But all the good things overshadowed the problems so much that they became swept under the rug. I personally hope for change in the next administration, and hopefully the change we get is not what's left after government takes what they want from my paycheck. We should not ask the government to solve all our problems, or take care of us like children, but we should ask that they remember who put them there, and we should ask that they be accountable for their decisions. As Americans, we should take the time to be accountable as well, and become educated about the people who will control our county's destiny for the next four years. It is OUR decision to make, and we all have to live with the outcome. Are these the right people for the job ? Is there no other that can be offered to us ? If not, Which of the two are the least evil ?
