The Bubba Effect
I did not think I would see it on Fox news this soon
It makes sense to me. The government works for the people, not the other way around
With talk now of states such as New Hampshire, and 20 others looking to leave the union, It seems that Obama and his Kool-Aid Dems are heading towards a brick wall
I guess the honeymoon for Barrack is over

Are You Offended Yet ?
Anyone smell the racism ? Where is the new President and the Democratic Government going to lead us ? Is anyone else offended by the actions that this new administration is taking ?
Could it be that the real racism problem is in the White house ?
Let's see here, and I quote, " When black would not be asked to give back "
What did he mean by that ?
Oh, I see. I wonder what he means when he says " When white would embrace whats right "

Welcome To Socialism
Obama signed the spending bill today, and first thing Wednesday morning they will begin spending our futures away
King Obama, that's right, I said KING !
Why do I say that ? Well, that's on the list of things to do.
Oh yeah, you didn't hear about HJ Res.5 ? Well here is a link for it
http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-hj5/show
It is a bill proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President.
This was introduced by Democratic Rep. Jose Serrano from NY on Jan 06-2009
No big deal, right ? Well, it has been referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary, and on Feb 09-2009 it was referred to the Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties.
Kinda sounds like Hugo Chavez
Have 40 some odd percent of the United States lost their minds ? Am I the only one here that can see what is going on ?
Maybe it is a lack of understanding, I am not calling people stupid ( cough cough ) but maybe some folks just do not have any idea where these actions and ideas can lead us
I found a cartoon that shocked me when I first saw it It was made in 1948 at Harding College and it gives the most simple explanation to where we are headed that I have seen so far. It is a little over 9 minutes, but well worth your time
If you like the story, please feel free to use it in one of your own posts, and hopefully we can help others understand what is happening to us
Lets not forget where we came from, and why our country was once considered the richest nation in the world.

The Right Plan Can Help
So where would our cash be better spent ??
I really do not believe that pushing this bill through, and allowing some of the payments for tennis courts, and dog parks, and frisbee golf courses will help us get anywhere. But complaining won't do any good. Do you really think the Beltway Boys and Girls care what happens to us ?
Even our "Transparent " president lied to us about the earmarks attached to the stimulus. He laughed at us on prime time and said " yes it's a spending bill, what do you think stimulus is ? ". Well I know that if I am broke, going out to buy a flat screen won't put cash back in my pocket
The majority of Americans are not in favor of this bill, and they are increasingly doubting the ability of the chosen one. I did try and give Obama a chance, because although he was not my choice, he is the leader of my country.

Did We Get Any Answers ???
I was waiting for an answer last night. I wanted to hear what gloom and doom is waiting for us if we do not spend 1.5 million on tennis courts in Northern Va.
I want to know why we need dog parks in California, and why it is a priority to re-sod and landscape the grounds at the national mall
I wanted to know why this managed health care plan is set to limit health care to seniors, and decide for you what medical procedures you can and can not have done
I want to know why throwing good money, that we don't even have, after bad is going to help us get on the right track
We need to prepare for whats coming because allowing the government to remodel their offices, and buy new vehicles, and throw more money at the global warming crap does not affect what happens to people in the unemployment office down in Dallas Georgia, or Mt. Eagle Tennessee, or even down here in the Northern Neck of Virginia where I live
I did hear a few things last night that did make me laugh. Obama said, once again, that he walked into this debt. He failed to mention that he helped create this mess. He also failed to mention that the decisions made by the Democrats sent the housing mess out of control.
I found out that the Washington Post was more concerned about Obama's feeling on A-Rod doping up than how much this stimulus will cost our children
And for the first time ever, the President called on an extreme left wing media outlet, the Huffington Post, who instead of asking if the President was concerned for his aunt that was in the states illegally and facing deportation, asked about prosecuting the previous administration for war crimes
I hate to get all preachy now, but I think it's time. With or without this bill, all of us need to learn self reliance. We need to stand on our own 2 legs and take care of ourselves and not get sucked into the welfare system that the government is offering. Less government, more people.
Do we want to continue to live free, or let Washington make our decisions for us ?
This is enough of this mess and all those suits inside the beltway can hold hands and walk into a wood chipper for all I care. I want a change, and Obama's not bringing it.
Disagree ? Go drink your freakin Kool-Ade

Where's Our Change ?
What the hell is this stuff ? This kind of talk was not what I was expecting to hear from our new Prez.
He said " Don't come to the table with the same old tired arguments and worn out ideas that helped to create this problem "
Well has he even read the bill that he is wanting on his desk in less than 10 days ? Can anyone tell me why we need all the " wish list " spending included in this ? Hell, we signed up for a bailout just a few months ago, and no one knows where that money went
Obama says that we will not get relief by doing what was done for the last 8 years. He said that he walked into a deficit when he came to work. He even said it was sitting there with a ribbon around it waiting for him
BULLSHIT !
Was he not part of the Democrats that helped send the mortgage industry to the crapper ? The same Democrats that wanted to keep regulation away from the lenders ? The same Democrat that accepted money from these people that made the rules for lending ? And was he not the same Democrat that helped organize people to protest banks and make problems for lenders that otherwise would not give loans to people that could not afford them ?
BHO won, I know that, and there is nothing we can do about it. We do still have a voice, and as small as that voice may be, we should at least make it clear to those sheep in DC that are still drunk with the Kool-Aid that we do not like what is happening
Check out this site http://www.emailcongress.net/ It has email addresses and phone numbers to the people in DC that are spending our future away.
There are still some of us here that are not blinded by the Obama light, that can see that much of this bill is unnecessary. We should act, we should let Dem's and republicans know that what they are doing is wrong
All those extras they are trying to include are things we do not need today, and we do not need a 700 + page bill to fix some of these problems.
My opinion, drop the mortgage interest rates to 4% for EVERYONE. Let those in a home stay there. let those that want a home buy one. If they want to spend money, let them spend it on our infrastructure. Construction will get us moving again. And lets start drilling NOW. Forget your green stuff until we actually have an electric car that can go a few hundred miles and does not cost 100k.
This so-called crisis can be turned around with the middle class. It can be fixed without having to purchase dog parks, and buying new government vehicles, and putting our grandchildren it debt
