Joke Of The Day

Did Joe really say that we do not have enough evidence to prosecute these terrorists ?

Instead of taking prisoners, maybe our people over there fighting for us should just shoot to kill, take no prisoners.

This crap with giving these animals a civilian trial, and the chance for the left wing to drag the United States through the mud is an outrage.

How much more can we take ?

I'm with you. Over there..shoot to kill. I'm very worried about what this will do to my city! And people forget a city is made of PEOPLE. it's not about the damn buildings.

If the United States is in the right on this one (and I very deeply believe we are), what about giving these animals a fair trial in keeping with our national principles, morals and beliefs is going to drag us through the mud? What are you so afraid of? Do you really have that little faith in your country?

Military trials have worked for ages. And not only are they effective at getting convictions, but they're faster, cheaper, safer, and there's far less of a circus.

Not to mention that these men were caught overseas and arrested as war criminals.

But that's just a few of the reasons to keep it in the military.

Here's a few reasons to NOT have it in a regular court.

12 "impartial" jurors? Really? How's that for keeping for our national principles? lol

I don't think most people are "scared," per se, but we are talking about terrorists. In order to make sure that the area is safe, MILLIONS of dollars (that could wind up being BILLIONS) will be spent for extra security, including buildings, press, lawyers, bystanders, the jurors, and even the terrorists.

Shall we just send you the bill? :P

There's too much of a circus atmosphere in public court. OJ x infinity!

It could drag on for years and years and years!

Maybe a lot of people don't really like admitting it, but the military is also part of our country. lol So, by wanting a military trial over a carnival, some just have a little more faith in military justice and realize that the Obama admin wants to intentionally create a sideshow.

How about we try them in the military and put their execution on PPV? I think this is a good compromise, especially considering most of the advocates for a NY trial shrug their shoulders at the money and risk involved.

The phrase "pick you battles" may apply here to some people who are using this opportunity to show that they have "balls."
