Marxist Professors and Half-Breed's

These are words from Obama, quotes I found interesting from his own books
.
* About student life and race at Occidental College Obama wrote “There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs,” he wrote. “It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.” He added: “To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists.”
.
* While in college, Obama wrote(he) disapproved of what he called other “half-breeds” who gravitated toward whites instead of blacks.*
.
* After college, he once fell in love with a white woman, only to push her away when he concluded he would have to assimilate into her world, not the other way around. He later married a black woman.*
,
*After making his first visit to Kenya, Obama wrote of being disappointed to learn that his paternal grandfather had been a servant to rich whites. The revelation caused ugly words to flash across my mind. Uncle Tom. Collaborator. House nigger.*
.
*I FOUND A SOLACE IN NURSING A PERVASIVE SENSE OF GRIEVANCE AND ANIMOSITY AGAINST MY MOTHER’S RACE*
.
* I ceased to advertise my mother’s race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites *
.
*That hate hadn’t gone away,” he wrote, blaming “white people — some cruel, some ignorant, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives. *
.
* I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction. *
.
Why would anyone consider Obama as a choice for President ? What the hell has happened to us ?

Great compilation there. I plan on putting up a post tomorrow linking back to some of the best NObama posts - this is definitely one of them going up!

Wow,this is stuff that I hadn't seen or read before. Why are more people not speaking out about this? I said before he has a cult like following...it's like nothing he says is wrong, people believe everything that comes out of his mouth. You know something..I had been undecided before about my vote, but now I know who I won't be voting for.

Scariers...they don't care even if you tell them. I learned yesterday that a person in my community whom I have had many conversations about the political situation with was for months telling me what I wanted to hear, while I thought he was having an honest conversation with me. It is rare that someone flies under my radar...extremely rare but he managed to do it. Smiled and agreed and chimed in with my points in agreement ONLY to learn last night that he will vote for Obama. He is from the D.R. and a naturalized citizen. He only votes Democrat was his reason. Sheeples, non-thinking sheeples. You cannot tell them anything, even if you explain the tax situation the answer is "they all tax us so what?"

It's depressing to live in NYC around people like this.

Here's how I am personally handling this. He is a business owner that I buy my morning coffee from and TP and those items. I will be buying a coffee pot and brewing my own coffee and going to the National Wholesale Liq and buying the other house items in bulk and no longer giving this business my hard earned money. That along with the severe economic policies of Nobama for 4 years(god help us we get another chance to vote then) and he will be punished for his lack of thought and sheepleness and never vote based on a D or R after a name again.

Which book is this from? Is it not followed by how he realized that living that way was messed up? And used as an example of what is still wrong with both blacks and caucasians in America today?!

He is a marxist no doubt. Too many people see him as the redeemer or the solution to all of their problems. When they realize he isn't, they will only want more.

The reason this isn't an issue: You heard it with four-eyes there (Alan Colmes)lol ... You can't question someone's faith, beleifs, affiliations, especially a black man in America. The only problem with that: HE'S RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT!

"Who are we to question?" WE, the people, OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA have every right to know every nuance of a candidate's beliefs and affiliations.

Yes, he is a Marxist, the extremist side of socialism. Yes, he is throwing our country aside to appease members of his father's race strictly. No, he isn't a worthy president.

As stated a million times over, if this were a white man with these beliefs, he would not only be unable to run for president, but ostracized by the entire country and unable to work... period.

I would like to link this in my blog and elaborate on the hypocrisy and other talking points if you don't mind.

Fantastic post! Keep the truth flowing into the well; hopefully, people will become thirsty enough to drink.

Great post Rob. Right to the point.

And, has Obama changed his thinking? I doubt it, based upon his actions.

It's gonna be great on Nov.5th when you all have to deal with it.

If you take something as complex as coming to terms with your mixed race and rip from that a few sentences and take away all the context then you can make it look like anything.

Keep on feeding your own hate, Jesus would be proud.

I don't know whether to laugh or to cry. As "Anonymous" said, you can take a quote out of context and make it look like anything. Furthermore, one of these "quotes" ("I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.") wasn't even said by Obama and isn't included in either of his books! That quote is actually a rewriting of a sentence from a critique of "Dreams From My Father" that was included in the magazine The American Conservative. Here is a link to a story about the Obama "quotes":

@ malcom Politifact ? Are you serious ? They lean towards Obama so far that the have to use Biden to prop them up. Come on now, Obama is a racist, and he wishes he could spill his " other " blood. We all know it, it's just that I am not scared to say it.

Your feelings about Politifact doesn't change the fact that they are telling the truth about these quotes. If you don't believe Politifact, how about the non-partisan group FactCheck.org? The same info I included in my previous comments can be found not only there, but also at Snopes.com. Better yet, if you don't already have them, how about picking up both of the Obama books up from your local library to see for yourself. I'm currently reading "Dreams of My Father" right now.

If you want to believe that Obama is a racist, that's fine. But can't you do better than printing out-of-context/falsified quotes?

By the way, it's Malcolm, not Malcom. Thank you.

Lot2Learn: Did you get around to visiting FactCheck.org to check on the validity of the Obama "quotes"?
