No One Above The Law

Have you heard what Biden has said about the Bush administration ? They are looking to pursue criminal action against Bush for crimes commited while fighting the war against terrorists. He was quoted as saying " Not out of vengeance, not out of retribution. Out of the need to preserve the notion that no one, no attorney general, no president — no one is above the law "

Oh really ? Well let's go after them all. I wonder if he will include the......

29 that have been accused of spousal abuse

7 that have been arrested for fraud

19 that have been accused of writing bad checks

117 who have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses

3 who have done time for assault

71 that cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

14 that have been arrested on drug-related charges

8 that have been arrested for shoplifting

21 that are currently defendants in lawsuits

84 that have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year

Can you guess which organization this is? It's the 535 members of the United States Congress. The same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

I wonder if Obama and Biden Know of this quote from Lincoln ? They are all criminals, all corrupt, and all work to better themselves. At least Bush has kept us from living through another 9/11, and I don't care how he did it.

** NOTE **

For those who wrote about my daughter, I have heard from her and she is OK. Thanks

Ok, I now realize you have quite a few great blogs.

Congress could by far be the scariest group out there. Thanks for the post. I've read the number before but it's always good to have the reminder that the average Joe has more morals than the scumbags in our government.

Wow I didn't know about that quote but it certainly is important.

Very specific.
Clear and concise.
Powerful!
Fantastic Post....

I wish the media would start reporting these specific details and examples -facts- in addition to their baseless opinions and commentaries.

I have heard some of these things before, but did not know about the shoplifting!

By the way, where did you get this information?

This may be one of the best political posts I've ever read.

Thanks. It is good stuff!

Glad your daughter is ok.

That same email goes around about UK politicians, with the same stats. It's old news.

I suggest you get back to fishing, and stay out of politics.

I gathered my information from news sources such as CNN, and fox news websites. I started reasearching after reading a report about a drunk driving case involving a congressman from Florida. I make my claims, and stand by them in plain sight, not from behind an anonymous profile. I would suggest if you were to say something negative, than do so with courage

I love it when a person wants to criticize but lacks the cojones to leave his/her contact information (the anonymous comment above.) If you really feel that strongly, don't be afraid to stand behind it.
