Bring on The Debates

If we can ever get past all the problems with the experience, and the age, and what religion everyone is, we need to get down to business. Many people have made their decision as to who they are voting for based on party affiliation, but there are a lot of us who will decide based on different issues that will affect us.
Until the debates get started, there is really nothing else that can be said about the candidates. At this point in the game, almost all the dirt is laid out on the table for all to see, and the media is going through it with a fine tooth comb.
But people really don't care about McCains age, or Palins pregnant daughter. No one cares about Obama's background, or Biden's lobbyist son. The people at the conventions, and the one's wearing the buttons, and the ones with the signs and bumper stickers all over their vehicle are already sold on who they are voting for.
The people who will decide the election are the quiet ones. The ones who read and listen to both sides of the issues. Even I am leaning towards a certain candidate, but I am open to all ideas. When the time comes to cast my vote, I hope I am prepared enough to make the right choice.
It is time now to end the rumors, accusations, and mud-slinging, and become educated about what choices will benefit ourselves and our country. We need to understand what each candidate will do if they get the chance to run our great nation, and what long term effects it could have on us, good or bad
I will be the first to end the trash talk, and encourage others to do the same. We have 2 months until we make the decision that will affect us for the next four years, let's take the time to make the right one
