Can you believe this ass can have the nerve to make a statement like that ?

Telling us that the loans are paid off 5 years early, with interest ?

He did originally make a statement in Fairfax not long ago, but not many people took notice of that, but now on every network, right in the middle of all the good TV shows, this jackass stands on my screen and lies to my face.

Why cant he tell us the truth ? Like how the $52 Billion bailout that was handed to GM from you and I, that money, thanks to congress will turn into stock, and be wiped off the books. Well, except for just a little over $6 billion. Nice little trade off

What kind of deal is that ? I don't want any GM stock, I want the money paid back.

My light bill come in the mail, I cant send them some good ole boy stock, and a couple quarters, and say its all good.

What in the world is going on up in Washington ?

I was so proud when Ford did not take money from the Government, and I was just as proud when I heard this morning that they had profits for this past quarter on the news this morning.

I have owned Ford cars and trucks since I could drive, over 25 years, and my family is all Ford, we know a good thing when we see it.

Clunker Cash

So how did that ' cash for clunkers " deal go ?
I saw this posted at another site today and thought I would share

" Yep, took an old 1993 Jeep Cherokee in (still running good) and bought a Toyota (of course Japanese, I ain't buy shit from GM Gobberment Motors).
That was July 30.
I paid cash. Got $4,500 off the price.
Now where's my title?
Turns out the dealer is keeping it till he gets paid that $4,500 by da gobberment....Its been 32 days now.... Dealer says he made 126 deals...but has only had 1 approved so far; he said he had to submit that one six times with identical language before the government approved it.
He is now owed about $500,000 by the gobberment.
The "clunker" cars engines have been destroyed. They're sitting on the lot.
He has equity tied up in the cars. If he doesn't get paid, I have to pony up the $4,500 and don't get my Cherokee back.
He has the title to the Cherokee...he keeps my title till he gets paid...if ever.
Oh boy....I can't wait till government runs health care.

Just Some Random Thoughts

I enjoyed watching the Madoff coverage today. I was impressed that the judge sent him to jail and did not let him stay out on bond until sentencing

What I do not understand is why Ruth was allowed to go to their high dollar home. Strip them now. Take everything they have, and then turn Bernie lose and let him and Ruth live in the streets.

Could that be too cold and heartless for them ?

I looked up the numbers tonight for what has been spent, and what is planned to be spent.

I did run across the Biden site that was supposed to help explain where all this money is going. That was no help at all.

On one of the news shows tonight, someone that was being interviewed was trying to defend the Obama plans and spending. They finished off a long response that had no fact or content to add that " Hey, it's only been a few weeks. Give it time "
