You know why that show is called " The View " ?
Because it is all about Joy Behar's and Whoopi Goldgerg's view.
If you talk above them and disagree with what they say, or oppose their position on something then you become the enemy.
Enter Bill O'Riley.
You will not talk over Bill, and he will get his point across, and he will speak his mind, and he does not care if he rattles your cage because he does not need you.
The only thing Behar and Goldgerg could do was to walk away.
O'Riley sat there and said what 70 % of the American people would have said, probably more, and I commend him for that.
Bill O'Riley still has a backbone.

Joy and Whoopi are idiots. Plain and simple. You have to believe as they do or else. Hate that show. Love Bill.
Have a terrific day. :)
You know that's true, as much as I make fun of Bill O'Reilly, he does also have the good attributes of his people. He may not always be rational or well-humored, and at times he may simply be a twerp, but if there's one thing he's good at it's cutting the crap. Whoopi Goldberg and company are best summarized by one of the most brilliant lines in the movie Serenity:
"They come at you sideways, saddle up and smile, hit you while you're weak. That's how they act, how they think."
That scene at New Haven (the planet, not the dilapidated former industrial town in Connecticut) is probably one of the greatest in the movie, and what a summary of that kind of liberal it is. Have you seen Serenity L2L? It's by Joss Whedon, the last great director in Hollywood.
He sort of has a backbone. He did change his wording to comply with them so they'd come back. Hmmm
