Is Justice Really Blind ?

This was passed on to me by email this morning, and even though I have heard a little about it, it still makes me mad.

I know, the first thing some of the left will say is that I want the undocumented to get less because they are criminals, or less than real people.

Not the case, I just wonder why the Government picks and chooses the laws the enforce.

The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA) seeks to control illegal immigration by eliminating employment opportunity as an incentive for unauthorized persons to come to the United States, by prohibiting the hiring or continued employment of aliens whom employers know are unauthorized to work in the United States. To comply with the law, all U.S. employers must verify the employment eligibility and identity of all employees hired to work in the United States after November 6, 1986 by completing Employment Eligibility Verification forms (Forms I-9) for all employees, including U.S. citizens. Employers who hire or continue to employ individuals knowing that they are not authorized to be employed in the United States may face civil and criminal penalties.

Now this is a law, just like it's a law that I cant pull out in my car and run 90 miles an hour down the road to the store, and a law that says I can't walk into the Ford dealership and grab the keys to a new F-350 and drive it off the lot.

You know, it was a law that Tim Geitner had to pay his taxes, but he wiggled his way around that, got off with some kind of finger pointing, and Barney Frank had some dope growing at one of his houses, but Barney pointed at someone else and walked away from that.

You ever set the cruise control at a couple miles under the limit, and then get mad when all those other drivers speed past you ? You think to yourself " the second I speed up, there will be 10 cops around the next curve. " but there never is ?

Where is that cop ? Where is the cop in D.C. that is sitting at his desk, just sick of all this crap, that knows what we need to know ?

The one that's ready to bust, because when just one of them starts talking, you know there will be more

Is That all You Got ?

Cruising around the blogs today, I noticed a new trend.
I really hate to beat a dead horse again, but a few are screaming racism.
Without pointing fingers, I read today that some bloggers really believe that the reason people are becoming outraged at the cap and trade, and health care reform, and the out of control spending is simply because Obama is black.
I have to say, is that all you got ?



I would like to see some shred of proof that the current town hall outbursts, and the tea parties, and and the large numbers of people yelling 'Hear our voice " are racially motivated.
Why not read the health care bill, or read more on the affects of cap and trade, or investigate where the stimulus money is.
If the best you can do is cry that Obama is being resisted because he is black, well then....



Opposition to these new spending bills, and calling the protesters right wing fringe mobs, and turning his back on the United States and the American people are the reason that Obama is having trouble.
That and bringing in a tax cheat to run the IRS,
Appointing a self proclaimed communist as a czar
Appointing another czar that has pushed involuntary sterilization
Should I go on ?
