Sheila Jackson Lee, now this was one of the best.
She claimed the Constitution was hurting, the living and breathing document was in pain.
Well I guess so after everything that was done to it after the health care ordeal
She mentioned something about the Klan, maybe because a white man had crossed the politically correct line and started a discussion about Radical Islam, well she is a Democrat, why can't she tell us what the Klan is up to these days ?
She wants to question those that oppose the Jewish faith ? Duh !
Did she read the sign on the way in ?
And what was that about Muslims that are hovering and scared ? Maybe the ones in the back of a truck coming across the border into Arizona. Just because they are taught from birth to kill anyone that does not believe what they believe gives me no reason to look at them any differently than anyone else, they are normal folks, right ?
S.J.Lee went off at the end of this and called out the Muslims on the panel, and the ones testifying and said it was a waste of time because everyone was doing what needed to be done.
I ask again, did she have any idea what the hearing was about ?
It was about the Radicalization of Muslim communities and their involvement.
The hearing was to point out where problems were in the Muslim community and get control of them now before it is too late.
Yes, there is a problem in the Muslim community, and there are Radical Muslims looking to destroy and kill American People.
They are actively recruiting people from all walks of life, and all religions, and it is a Global problem



When are Americans going to get some common sense and take a real look at what is going on ?
How much longer are we going to allow idiots like Lee and the rest of her Liberal friends run us into the ground ?
How much longer can we hold out until a real change is made ?
Thank God for people like Peter King, and Governor Walker in Wisconsin.

This Mosque debate has brought out the idiots
Instead of standing up for the dead, instead of standing up for America, people still choose to grab bits and pieces of what is left of our Constitution and use it in defense of killers.

A site that I frequent had a post today proclaiming that the site at ground zero could not be that great because nearby there were " titty bars " within walking distance.

Let me tell you something, if he is afraid of the strippers attacking, he has other issues other than terrorism.

What, are they gonna do, throw french fries at us ?
Come on, is this the best you have ?
This has nothing to do with the fact of the strippers, or fast food in proximity of Ground Zero.
It has everything to do with allowing a Muslim Imam, that would not denounce Hamas, that said that the United States was to blame for 9/11, that will not allow us to know where the funding for this building is coming from, that preaches a religion that teaches any other person that does not follow their religion should be killed, that has radical followers,
It has everything to do with slapping America in the face, and letting them know that the Muslim world is coming to take over.
Let me say right here and now, there are more people that do not want this, and there are more people that still feel pride when we look at the flag.
We still feel pain when we see clips from the 9/11 incident, and we know what we have to do come November, and beyond.
This is our Country, we speak English, we follow the American law, and by no means do we need someone to tell us how to act from another country.

Black Panthers Ready To Meet

The " New " Black Panthers are coming to D.C. on August 27th to deal with, and I quote, " All these right wingers "

They are being led by A Dr. Malik Zulu Shabazz, aka Paris Lewis, who is described by the Anti-Defamation League as " anti-Semitic and racist ", and on his own website, on the header it reads " Freedom or Death "

This is the man that is leading a growing number of blacks towards a war.

Let's not sugar coat anything anymore, the Muslims are out to destroy the United States, and the black people in America are joining them at an alarming rate.

They use race and discrimination as an excuse, and blame the Whites and Jews for their problems,claim that they are held down and oppressed, and not afforded the same opportunities as everyone else that lives in this great Nation

May I remind you that that no where in our Constitution does it say that a black man can not go to school, or go to work, or own a business. for that matter, there are even laws, and exceptions that give black additional opportunities that are not afforded to others, such as white.

Why do these black leaders lie to their own people ? what is their agenda ?

This man, this black leader, this racist, this anti-Semitic, this man that calls Osama Bin Laden " brother " that is telling more and more black men and women what to do, and what to think, and where to go is going to be in Washington D.C. on August 27th to take care of the right wingers.

The Senate Starts The Vote

Back room deals, and closed door meetings are the only thing we know about this bill.
This thing is being crammed right down our throats by the most left wing, self serving government that has ever been in existence.

The people do not want this, they do not want this bill, and they do not want a government that conducts business like this.

Why cant the time and energy that is being put on bankrupting the country be spent on our economy and cleaning up the way these people just burn through our money ?

Why cant they just stop and instead of debating on what bills need to be read, and who gets to speak for another 2 minutes, why not take a week or two and read the constitution ?

Why not go over the oath of office that they took and remember what their responsibilities are ?

A message to any Liberal or left wing bloggers that may stop in, do not be surprised in 2010 when all of these people get swept out of D.C. and don't be surprised when Obama leaves in 2012 wearing Jimmy Carter's crown

"Senators Warner, Webb, and Congressman Cantor Reject 6,000 Petition Signatures"

Six thousand Richmond area residents have signed a petition protesting nationalized health care, but Warner, Webb and Cantor refuse to personally meet to acknowledge the petition despite multiple requests.

"I don't understand how an elected official can ignore that level of opposition," said Mechanicsville resident, Kevin Dumville. "When these petitions are laid down end-to-end, they stretch longer than a football field."




"The petition signatures represent genuine concern of taxpayers about government take-over of our health care system," said Sara James of Midlothian. "The signatures were gathered through face-to-face meet-ups at festivals, neighborhood walks and in our workplaces. We expect our elected representatives to at least feign interest in the will of the people, but when we requested meetings to personally deliver the petitions, we were rebuffed at every turn. These politicians have repeatedly demonstrated no interest in the opinions of thousands of voters in their districts. Warner, Webb and Cantor should be ashamed of themselves!"

Corky Mann of Henrico, a relative newcomer to the political process, expressed dismay about the lack of response by his representatives. "These politicians seem to forget that we hired them, and we expect them to be responsive and considerate of our opinions, not to mention the fact we expect, at a minimum, a reverence for the Constitution, which these health care bills clearly ignore."

The petition states: "We the People of Virginia demand that the Federal Government remain within its Constitutional boundaries on health care. We reject any of the following: Government-run health insurance; One-size government-dictated package of health benefits; New job-killing mandates on employers; Federal medical mandates that violate State Sovereignty; Requirement on individuals to buy medical insurance coverage; Federal institution that controls private health insurance; Government intrusion into our medical privacy; Taxpayer dollars for euthanasia, or life ending services; Medical coverage for illegal immigrants at taxpayer expense."

Busy Weekend

On Thursday, I was invited to attend a memorial service for some of people who died in the attack of the pentagon 8 years ago.
My invitation came due to the fact that I know my way around the streets of Northern Virginia, and two of the women that were going needed a driver.
Besides the fact that I had become a chauffeur, I felt honored that I could attend the gathering and have a chance to talk to some people that were in the building when the attack happened.
Hearing for myself some of their own personal stories, and actually being at the Pentagon just hours after then plane had struck the side of the building brought back some terrible feelings

On Saturday, my driving skills were put to good use again as I was volunteered as a commuter van driver to shuttle people into D.C. from Stafford Virginia, just a short 45 minutes away.
On my last trip, I had parked the van and joined the group of Americans that had assembled to send a message to government.

As I made my way through the crowd, I found that different streets contained different feelings of the march.

I had no sign, and no shirt expressing my views, but because of the crowd I was with, I was called racist, redneck, hillbilly, and right wing nut.

As I got closer to the platform that was assembled for the Freedomworks people, I was handed a wallet sized copy of the constitution, and the woman that handed it to me said " This is a gift for you, don't lose it "

Out of all the speakers I heard, out of all the speeches, out of all the signs and t-shirts that had clever slogans on them, that one comment hit me the hardest.

............" Don't lose it "

Why would anyone want to lose their freedom, their rights, or liberties ?

Why would anyone just hand them over ?

Her words were the most power full to me that day

On Sunday, I shared what I had seen and heard the last few days with some folks over breakfast at our local gathering place, and everyone there said with the same breath " How did we get this far ? "

Out of control government did not start with Obama, and it did not start with Bush

This greed and corruption has been building for years.

I have spent the morning reading left wing blogs that make fun, and ridicule what the people stood for on Saturday, and read a few that scream 9/11 was an inside job.

The people came together Saturday and made one voice, loud and clear, that our representatives are not doing what is right.

They came out in plain view and let America know that they are ready to make a stand.

Where were the left wing supporters ?

Where were the ones that criticize, and write names about those that are willing to put a stop to big government ?

I will tell you where,

In the shadows,

In the darkness,

Hiding behind their keyboards.

They are too ashamed to let others know they are content in having the government take care of them.

They are ashamed to let real Americans know that they are nothing more than sheep.

They are ashamed to let us know that they cannot think for themselves.

Our current situation will not be solved by blaming Bush, or believing that opposition against Obama is racially motivated.

It will be solved by stepping forward and calling out corruption, pointing out the waste, and punishing those that break the rules.

If you break the law, if you cheat the people, if you lie,

Overstepping It's Boundries ?

Rick Wagoner got the ax today, but not from the board at GM, Obama kicked him out the door.

GM needs more cash to continue operating, and our leader put it in their hands.
Get rid of him, or no more cash
I do not want to debate if Wagoner was the man that needed the pink slip, I personally could not care less if the whole bunch was thrown out.
What bothers me is the fact that government has that kind of power. It bothers me that the government is growing larger every day, and is granting themselves the power to do as it wishes
The auto companies should have gone into bankruptcy.
If the way they manage and direct a company is not working, it is not my place to send them any money to help them out
The government, Obama, Reid, and Pelosi Took my money and handed it to someone that has a lot more than I do, and I have a problem with that
They took my money and handed it to AIG, another group that willingly took a wrong turn and was on the brink of closing it's doors,
or were they ?
I did find it odd that they were doing well enough to send in contributions to Obama, and Dodd, and even McCain.
They were doing well enough to work a deal with Geithtner and Dodd to make sure they could pass out millions in bonus checks as well
This side show soap opera has been played up tremendously by the Kool-Aid media, and the politicians looking to grab some brownie points with the public that is still in the dark about the big plans our new administration has in store for us
The contracts, and deals in the dark that were made over these bailouts will never reach the light of day, but what the government has done concerning these bonus payments worry me the most
As wrong as the bonuses sound to any of us, it was still part of a contract, a legal binding agreement, yet our government said we don't like the terms now, so give it back or we will tax it from you, and smear your names throughout the country
Tonight on The Glenn Beck Show, Glenn interviewed Richard Blumenthal, who is the Connecticut Attorney General , and I was shocked when Glenn asked him " What law did AIG break ? "



Rick may have some good intentions, but twisting the law to get what you want never works.
Anyone can interpret the law in their own way, lawyers make a fortune doing it every day, But our elected officials are to uphold the constitution, and follow it to the letter, not read it and say to themselves " Hmmm, well this will work for me if I exclude this group " .
Wagoner did pretty good on his way out of the GM office today, he walked away with over 20 million in compensation, so I guess GM will have to write him an IOU until Obama cuts them another check, right ?
