Sheila Jackson Lee, now this was one of the best.
She claimed the Constitution was hurting, the living and breathing document was in pain.
Well I guess so after everything that was done to it after the health care ordeal
She mentioned something about the Klan, maybe because a white man had crossed the politically correct line and started a discussion about Radical Islam, well she is a Democrat, why can't she tell us what the Klan is up to these days ?
She wants to question those that oppose the Jewish faith ? Duh !
Did she read the sign on the way in ?
And what was that about Muslims that are hovering and scared ? Maybe the ones in the back of a truck coming across the border into Arizona. Just because they are taught from birth to kill anyone that does not believe what they believe gives me no reason to look at them any differently than anyone else, they are normal folks, right ?
S.J.Lee went off at the end of this and called out the Muslims on the panel, and the ones testifying and said it was a waste of time because everyone was doing what needed to be done.
I ask again, did she have any idea what the hearing was about ?
It was about the Radicalization of Muslim communities and their involvement.
The hearing was to point out where problems were in the Muslim community and get control of them now before it is too late.
Yes, there is a problem in the Muslim community, and there are Radical Muslims looking to destroy and kill American People.
They are actively recruiting people from all walks of life, and all religions, and it is a Global problem



When are Americans going to get some common sense and take a real look at what is going on ?
How much longer are we going to allow idiots like Lee and the rest of her Liberal friends run us into the ground ?
How much longer can we hold out until a real change is made ?
Thank God for people like Peter King, and Governor Walker in Wisconsin.
At least these guys have the stones to stand up for what is right

The Health Care Ruling

I sat back in a medicated state as Obama wasted another hour of my time giving the State of the Union, and I listened to, and read all of the responses from both sides commenting about how wonderful the speech was, and how is was just a rehash of last years.

Some time has passed, and I am feeling a little better now, and I waited along with millions of other Americans for a ruling on the Health Care bill in Florida.

I did suspect that certain parts would be deemed unconstitutional, but never thought that the entire bill would be thrown out.

As always, I eagerly search out the responses from the left, just to find what excuse they will use for defeat, and it seems that the majority are calling it an act of " Republican Judicial Activism "

I remember when the Health Care debate was going on, and the big question was where in the Constitution does it say that the Government provide Health Care.

It looks like the question finally got answered.

Getting Back To Myself

Way back in May of '08, my life changed.
I had pulled a 10 hour day at my job installing underground power and telephone lines and was on my way to the house for some supper, and then maybe take the boys to the beach.
While I sat at a red light, 3 cars back, someone in a bigger hurry than me had dropped their phone and had reached into the passenger floorboard to get it. When they came back up to the wheel at 55 miles an hour, there I was, still waiting for the light to change.
At the hospital, I got the typical examination, and was prescribed some muscle relaxers and told to see my doctor as soon as possible.
I had never really been sick or hurt a day in my life, and other than the DOT physicals required to drive the heavy trucks at work, I had never had a doctor, so I picked one from the list given to me at the hospital.
For a little over a year, this doctor had done nothing more than prescribe muscle relaxers, pain pills, and physical therapy, which did absolutely nothing, and when I questioned or complained, the doctors response was to increase my dosage of pain pills.
I know for some folks,they may be thinking, hell yeah ! but this was just not me, and I refused to think that pills were going to be a part of the rest of my life.
I found another doctor, away from the hospital and the city, closer to where I live, and the first time I went to see him, he let me talk, and let me have a chance to explain that I was not happy with where my current repair was headed.
Thankfully I met my current Doctor, because I sit here this morning actually feeling a little better.
I went under the knife on my lower back a week ago, and I am still recovering from that, but the Doctor that did the work told me if he had seen me sooner, the damage would not be as bad.
I heard the same story from the doctor that is scheduled to repair my neck, that if I had come in sooner there would be less damage.
Why do I bore all of you with my troubles today ?
Well, with all the problems concerning health care, I think the quality that some will get will be shame full.
I was trusting, more than I should have been, with my first doctor and it cost me some real damage, and it has also cost me financially.
There are many who would be happy to remain drugged up, I wanted to be fixed.

Bloody Sunday

I watched as the hour drew near for the vote that was going to drag us over the cliff into socialism.
I watched the debates, and watched as the news channels put every kind of spin on how each of the members would vote.
I thought I may have seen signs of hope when John Boehner gave his argument



Hell No !
That's what should have been said about this bill, and about the Government takeover of our lives.
We knew it was coming.
It has been played thousands of times, and you can see it on Glenn Beck's TV show at least once a week.
Obama told us before the election that we were 5 days from him fundamentally changing our country.



Yeah, we knew.
We tried to tell you. We tried to alert you as to what Obama was, and what he would do.



Now look at what we are thrown into.
Who wins ?
Who supports this ?



Show them the money.
Open your doors and let those that have not worked for anything take whatever they need.
Leave the keys in your car, and leave your checkbook on the counter at the store.
Why try to hang on to it ? It's all going to be redistributed anyway.

Breaking News

Obama got on the TV again today, pushing his health care agenda, and I thought it was funny that the broadcaster on the radio said " Braking News ! Obama about to speak about the health care bill "

It's funny because is it really breaking news ?

That's all Obama has talked about for months.

It has been on every news show, commentary, and late night joke menu for as long as I can remember.

This past weekend, Gibbs told us it was going to be done this week

Here we go into the bottomless pit.

Bigger Government, and we can't do anything about it.

We have protested, rallied, sent faxes and emails and letters, went to town halls and voiced our opinion.

No one hears us.

Obama told us before the election that he would transform this Nation.

It looks like he is keeping his word on that promise

If Obama's plan is so great, why does he have to use our tax dollars to buy the votes to get it passed ?

The Chicago way is alive and well in Washington I suppose.

Wonder what will happen when things start going the Asian way, or the Muslim way ?

This is a good example of why the bill needs to go into the trash, and just start all over again.

The Health Care Summit

Whats the problem ? Over 50% of Americans have expressed the fact that this monster bill is not right.

Eric Cantor read right out of Obama's plan and told him what the problem was.

How did Obama respond ? He called his own bill a prop, and reminded everyone that they were there to talk, not use theatrics.

Then, after he got some advice from his advisers decided it was time for lunch.

I was against the Republicans going to the summit because I thought it was some kind of trick being played by the left, but so far I am glad they went

Coming To An End

I could not have said it better myself.

A ruinous tactic.

The out of touch people in D.C. are going against what the people say, and they refuse to listen.

The argument over Democrats and Republicans getting anything right is just wasted breath. Both sides are are unaware of what the majority request.

I did say majority, meaning more are against what Obama is pushing than those that are for it. The majority of the people are not being heard, and are being shoved aside like trash.

This is why I can agree with George Will, and think that we will soon see the decline of this administration.

The actions of our President and our elected representatives will leave a scar on the left that will never heal, and those that follow the herd and allow these tactics to succeed will also branded, and sent home by the majority.

This is what the leaders in D.C. think about the majority, and this is a perfect example of why big government is bad.

They choose not to hear us now, then listen to what we have to say in November

I have been watching with great interest over the last couple days as the Democrats start to back away from the fire.

Byron Dorgan, Bill Ritter, and today I watched Chris Dodd unload a line of crap onto the media

I do not believe a word of what he said.
There is no way that someone that clawed his way into power the way Dodd has done, with all the inside deals he had, and the hook-ups he was getting, why would he just walk away from some easy money and all that glorious power ?
Why would any of these people just step away from what they have worked for, and why so many this close together ?
My thoughts are that they did not make this decision, this is what they were told to do.
Someone else told them this is what they were going to do.
They were pressured, and maybe even bribed with something, but they were put in a position that they had to do what they were told.
But we will never really know, because whatever happened, went on behind closed doors, in some back room, away from the cameras and out of the light of day.

I am back from the holidays, and hunting, and some wheeling and dealing and just have to say one thing.

DAMN I NEEDED THAT !

As most of you know, because of an auto accident, I am kinda stuck here at the house most of the time because I can't get around like I did before the crash.
These last couple weeks I have had to suck it up and grit my teeth so my boy's could get out in the woods.
It was totally worth it, and as I sit here medicated and my heating pad on high with no chance of getting any rest because of the pain, I will still smile because I know what my son's and I shared over the last few weeks will be with them forever
Now we begin a new year dragging with us the problems that just seem to keep getting bigger.
Health care, terrorism, jobs, and the unknown that Obama wants to drag us into.
It seems hard to start off with a clean slate when nothing on the to-do list got done. Our biggest problem in this country is that we have lost common ground.
No matter how far out of the box people want to think, they should remember that the contents of that box is what got us here in the first place.

The Senate Starts The Vote

Back room deals, and closed door meetings are the only thing we know about this bill.
This thing is being crammed right down our throats by the most left wing, self serving government that has ever been in existence.

The people do not want this, they do not want this bill, and they do not want a government that conducts business like this.

Why cant the time and energy that is being put on bankrupting the country be spent on our economy and cleaning up the way these people just burn through our money ?

Why cant they just stop and instead of debating on what bills need to be read, and who gets to speak for another 2 minutes, why not take a week or two and read the constitution ?

Why not go over the oath of office that they took and remember what their responsibilities are ?

A message to any Liberal or left wing bloggers that may stop in, do not be surprised in 2010 when all of these people get swept out of D.C. and don't be surprised when Obama leaves in 2012 wearing Jimmy Carter's crown

This 4 years will be nothing more than a disgrace

Joe Lieberman said today that he was ready to give his vote for health care.

He did hold out most of the morning, but I guess that now, he is just a shining example that every man has his price

The fact still remains that the American people do not want this bill.

It looks like Joe is ready to retire, because he can now be added to the list of those that will be FIRED this coming November

That was incredible.
And you can bet it is one of the ways they will try to run health care down our throats.
I think its time we go to D.C. and hand out some pink slips, get rid of them if they will not do their job.
They do work for us, and they must do as we say, they are there to represent the people, and a majority of the people do not want this bill.
Let me repeat that we do not want THIS bill
There has to be a better way that does not involve bigger government, and bankrupting our country

I watched the house pass the health care bill tonight with just 1 republican voting yea.
I wonder who that was ?
With all the outrage, all the protest's, all the people standing in D.C. and around the Nation telling them NO ! why would they think this is what we want ?
Granted, it still has a long way to go, but our voices are not being heard

The public option is on its way, and it is another way for the Government to force it's way into our lives.

I have heard Olympia Snowe has agreed to vote with the Democrats.

She said " When history calls, history calls "

This is an historical moment for Snowe, as it will be the beginning of the last days for her in office.

The people have made their opinions clear, people on both sides of center.

When this " reform " has to be forced on us, something is wrong,

And when Democratic members that oppose the plan are told they will be shamed, and striped of chairmanships,

It is time to put on the brakes and find out exactly what is going on
